Castlevania: Lords Of Shadows Mirror Of Fate -{3DS}-

This new installment of Castlevania IMHO is pretty good with that classic side scrolling, Trevor Belmont, a knight of the Brotherhood of Light, sets out to avenge the death of his mother, at the hands of his own father, who has now returned from years of exile to take up residence in a mysterious castle. What was once Gabriel Belmont is now a powerful vampire called Dracula. Dracula has declared war upon the Brotherhood and thus the scene is set for a cataclysmic showdown between father and son. Gameplay is good you can use your weapons in different combinations some very powerful, along with and in traditional Castlevania style throwing objects like holy water, crosses. Graphics are of course on 3DS level but good overall this is a pretty good game worth a play check it out.

Sonic All-stars Racing Transformed~{3DS}~

Sonic All-stars Racing Transformed on the 3DS is a wild ride I must say with characters from Sega past time is cool. Depending on what character you choose your vehicle transforms from car to plane to boat this is nice for gameplay, it has the same dynamics as a Mario Kart game but Sega advanced it some and tweaked it. The boards are full of color which is great I must say, still with a Mario Kart fill having gaining power ups the same same way some exactly like a Mario Kart game others all together different. This game can stand alone and is a fun game to check out.

New Super Mario Bros. U~{Wii U}~

Mario is always best in a side scrolling adventure mostly everything about this game has been said but I'll just add that if you are a Mario fan this game is fun fun fun I have enjoyed it and being able to play off TV is a plus. I know a lot of people that got the Wii U didn't want a Mario game but hey I'd rather it sooner than later lol. On the bright side of things old or new Mario fans this game is fun and good and in HD so check it out.

Hitman Absolution~{Xbox 360}~

Hitman Absolution is off the chain boy oh boy, Agent 47 has been ordered to kill his mentor, then he turns his back on the Agency then has to protect some girl from falling into the hands of the Agency and everyone else. When I say IMHO that this game is a must have for any gamers collection I mean it Square Enix hit a home run on this one, the graphics are awesome in some scenes life like with great dialog and bullets flying everywhere. Stealth is my normal M.O. Sneaking up on unsuspecting enemies is great fun. Gameplay is great you can target enemies with a matrix like feel take them all down at once or if the heat is on you can hide in dumpsters, closets, etc....take down someone and use there clothes as a disguise to bend in with the locals. This game is a must have check it out.

Fire Emblem Awakening~{3DS}~

This is one of the best RPG's so far this year on console or handheld IMHO, this game like past Fire Emblem titles is turn based action allowing the player to move characters in positions to dominate and take over the board. You can also customize your character, choose what class you want him or her in with different skills, strengths, and weakness. Your characters also develop emotional ties to each other and can get married have children in which your kids you can use on the battlefield. Over all if you are looking for turn style RPG action Fire Emblem Awakening is the game you want to get. Also Nintendo has several DLC for just a few dollars to further your adventure. Turn style play also allows you to pair and in most cases do more damage to enemies also this is where you get that emotional connection lol.  I'm enjoying this game so much I you have the opportunity to check it out to.

Nintendo Direct 1/23/13

Upcoming things for the Wii U from Nintendo's lastest Nintendo Direct, first of all let me say things in my opinion are looking up for the system. With 2 System updates coming this spring and summer with new features, including software launching faster and returning to the main menu faster. Virtual Console will be availible this spring after the first update with NES And SNES titles, you will also be able to play off TV on the Gamepad and access to Miiverse community for each game. Gameboy Advance games will be coming to virtual console to, special pricing for Wii users who transferred VC games to Wii U will get a discount when they buy the same game. NES games will be 4.99 - 5.99 dollars and SNES games will be 7.99 - 8.99 dollars. Wii U Virtual Console Trail Campaign for the 30th anniversary of Famicon and NES with 1 NES or SNES game available each month starting this month through July. Each title will be .30 cents for 30 days on the Wii U eSHOP.

Another feature coming soon you will able to browse Miiverse on smartphones with a smartphone app in the future. New Games coming soon some that we're already announced like Game and Wario,  Wii U Fit, Pikmin 3, Lego City Undercover, a preview of Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 was shown. Smash Bros. was mentioned with a preview at E3 2013, more announcements include a new Mario 3D Game, New Mario Kart Game, New Party Game, New Yoshi Game, Shin Megami Tensai X Fire Emblem Game, A remake of The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker of course it will be Miiverse  compatible, a new Zelda Game, and a preview of a new role playing from Monolith Soft which looks Awesome. These are just some key points I wanted to address that I thought was fantastic.

New Super Mario Bros. 2~{3DS}~

Just finished NSMB2 this game on the 3DS is awesome I really got into it, side scrolling action at its best. The 3D effect on it is ok but I played majority of it without 3D, IMHO one of the best Mario games to be released. Co-op is decent but what really got me was the coin rush mode which I feel is classic collecting gold gold gold, collect as many coins as you can in a set amount of time. You can play this as regular Mario or the invincible White Raccoon Mario, all in all if your looking for great side scrolling action this is it.
